Do you Use a Pie Crimper on your Pies?

Posted by Caroline Booy on

To me, using the crimper I purchased from "Birds Hill Enterprises" makes perfect sense. It really seems to save me a lot of time, compared to say ... manual crimping with one's hands. I do crimp by hand a small amount when I am putting top crusts on a mini-pie, but the real time saving is with the wooden crimper at the end of the pie making process. It probably saves me more time than any other tool that I have in my kitchen. The cost of this aide is so small, I would never be without one.
