Now that the busiest season is coming to a close I want to thank our customers' for their patience this year. With a large influx of fall orders starting in August we were unable to keep up and experienced lead times of 6-9 weeks. We had ordered new equipment last February and experienced delays with delivery and setup. The machinery is just being put into production and we are excited about the new possibilities it gives us! With our new equipment we will be able to make new pie crimper designs and we are hoping to be able to add logo's to crimpers and pie crusts as well as being able to stamp pictures into the top crusts ie. apples, strawberry, cherry, chicken etc. Once we have some samples made and tested we will be featuring pictures on this blog as well as video's. Andrew has also joined us full time and we will be using his expertise and creativity in designing new products and custom work for specialized pie and tart making. With both Andrew and the new equipment it is our goal to reduce lead times to 1-2 weeks. It has been a privilege this fall to experience the patience and understanding of our customers - thank you so much!
